At the start of the music video, it opens with Shakira belly dancing in minimal clothing. She does this in a very seductive way. However the male that is singing is fully clothed this may show how women need to be seen as sexy and attractive where as the man is just showing off his talent of music and doesn't need anything else to grab the audiences attention.
At 17 seconds into the video she is very flirting and enticing as she grinds against the wall and shows off her figure. This shows how she may be seen as an object and she accompanies his singing with her image.
40 seconds in the male singer says 'Hey girl, I can see your body moving and it's driving me crazy'. Showing how he just focuses on her body and figure not how pretty she is or even her personality etc. He doesn't even use her name when dressing her he just says her gender showing how he only focuses on sexuality. He also goes on to sing 'I didn't have the slightest idea until I saw you dancing.' This is also an example of how he didn't seem to care about her until he saw her body and was seduced.
At around the 42 second mark the man is trying to find the woman through the fabrics.
